On Thursday, May 7th, supporters of the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium will join in celebrating the annual Spring Fling.

We are pleased to have the well known Mr. Jack Hanna as our guest speaker! He is known for his great services to the Columbus Zoo and his appearances on several television shows such as The Late Show with David Letterman, Larry King Live, Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Maury Show, and Entertainment Tonight and as a wildlife correspondent for Fox and CNN News. A truly entertaining and enjoyable night is planned.

Our Estuary Touch Tank contains wildlife found in our local estuaries. At any given time you may find creatures such as horseshoe crabs, shrimp, seastars, clams and numerous types of shells. Our touch tank will constantly be replenished so you may see different creatures every time you visit.

The Media Globe is a 360 degree, full dome experience that will transport you to the Everglades, out to earth orbit, to the moon's surface, through the rings of Saturn, and into black holes - without leaving the air conditioning.
